What do you think of when someone mentions a Nissan Micra? It might remind you of getting insured on your Mum’s policy when you first passed your test, or driving around in a car – that although was considered uncool – was sturdy and reliable enough to get you through your first few years of driving.
When our amazing client Nissan showed us the all-new Micra, we knew this was a car that deserved an outstanding campaign; that told a story. Since we love a challenge, we set out to change people’s perceptions of the Micra from ‘old reliable’ to slick, sought-after city car.
No More Nice Car is a campaign that tells the story of defying perceptions and challenging conventions. Showcasing some homegrown talent – directed by Dermot Malone and starring Taekwon-Do black-belt, Isabel Lehane – the ad went from a standalone video to the centrepiece of a fully realised campaign across traditional and digital platforms, to promote the all-new Nissan Micra. The video will be shown in cinemas nationwide, and you might even spot some out-of-home adverts pop up around the country.
No More Nice Car has received over 500k views across Facebook and YouTube so far, pulling on heart-strings nationwide! Check it out below...
