Far from surrendering to the choked cityscapes of movies like Bladerunner, it looks like the city of tomorrow might be a much greener place – that is if the people behind projects like Dublin’s Urban Farm have anything to say about it.
This weekend, as you know, is election time in Ireland. While many will be voting some will be attending a unique cultural event hosted by the Iceland: Ireland project. The Northern Lights Observatory, subtitled a cultural experiment in exceptional times sees a host of events taking place between Irish and Icelandic people concluding in a free Public Collaboratory event at 1pm on Sunday in City Hall, Dublin.
