Job Title: Social Analyst
Introduction: Huskies are looking for a full-time Social Analyst to join our growing Analytics discipline. You will work with our Social, Search, and Performance team to provide real-time social media analytics, insights, and operational support. You will report to our Director of Social, Search, and Performance and will have the direct support of the Social team to develop your professional skills and career. You will also focus on gaining deep insights into client’s current tools, data culture, and reporting practices.
Partner with Community Management, Strategy/Planning, and Performance Media teams to provide actionable social media analysis of campaigns and daily evergreen content.
Develop social media audits for our clients that outline competitive brands, emerging trends, and latest measurement technologies.
Research and deliver recurring client reports that translate insights into value for the client’s social media activity – editorial content, platform analysis, online mentions and community management.
Analyze and interpret data from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, LinkedIn, Google Analytics, etc. to ensure the agency is up to date on new analytics tools, platforms, or API’s from emerging social channels.
Create and manage custom, client-friendly databanks to store and present both social and website data in a visual and interactive way.
2 years experience in social media analytics and data management.
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Marketing, Communication, Advertising, Business, Psychology, Sociology, or other related discipline.
A detail-oriented, task-driven critical thinker.
Demonstrate skills in writing, teaching and presenting.
Adept in manipulating data and analysis in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets and on both Microsoft and Macintosh operating systems.
Experience working with social analytics and publishing platforms, such as Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, Iconosquare, Sprinklr, Falcon Social, or HootSuite.
Social listening experience using Sysomos or Brandwatch will be an advantage.
Familiar with digital media platforms, including social media, website, SEO, PPC and display advertising.
Ability to work in cross-functional teams in high-pressure situations and to make data and insights accessible to a non-expert audience.
Take ownership and initiatives in projects and deliverables.
Knowledge of SQL or big data mining is not a requirement for this role.
